# Using Create and Link

## About the plugin

Create and Link for Jira adds a simple and strait forward way to create a new ticket and link it to the current one.

## Access the plugin

Access Create and Link from the **Apps** button on any issue.

## Use the plugin&#x20;

Simple choose what link type, issue type and write a summary for the new ticket. Change the direction to indicate which ticket is which. Click Create to creat the new ticket and link it to the current one.
